I am a founding director of Perilli & Ho Solicitors. My journey began when I was in secondary school and I was always fascinated by the intricacies of law. When is something counted as “theft”, and when is something a “robbery”? The mind boggles and I must simply know more!
In my quest to become a solicitor I followed the most straightforward route, starting as an undergrad student at University College London obtaining my LLB and continuing on at the former College of Law (now University of Law) to finish my LPC. Then I completed my two years training contract and qualified as a solicitor in 2011.
My specialist area is within commercial property, although I also deal with residential conveyancing and refinance. I have acted for developers selling large blocks of units, hotel rooms, and also acted for buyers in purchasing schools, hotels and smaller businesses such as takeaways, restaurants and beauty salons. In addition I deal with landlord and tenant issues, such as debt recovery work or eviction of tenants, dealing with licences for landlords and so on. I take pride in being very thorough in my daily work, and in training up the next generation of solicitors and notaries.
I am a notary public of England and Wales, separately regulated by the Faculty Office, where I am able to assist with notarisation and legalisation of documents to be used overseas.
I am fluent in Cantonese Chinese, professionally in Mandarin Chinese, and in the true spirit of self-improvement I am currently studying Japanese.
